Reminder...

There are people on the net that have nothing better to do with their time then be nasty to other people online. They post rude comments, spend hours a day talking about sites they hate so much, that they well, spend hours a day talking about them. (lame) They mock the owners and posters for their opinions and their right to free speech. They expect everyone to fit into their narrow-minded little world view or else they throw a temper tantrum.

To these people I say
grow up
.

Here's a bit of info people...the web is a HUGE place. If you don't like what I say here, or who I am, or what I do, or talk about, or what I look like, or the color of my hair, or whatever asinine thing you dwell on, go somewhere else. It's really, really easy. Honest. You just click the little "x" in the corner of your browser and *poof* the offending, big, mean and nasty site has disappeared.

I pay for this site. It's mine. That means I can use it for whatever the hell I want to. Don't like it if I'm bitching about something in my life? Oh fucking well. Go somewhere else. Think I'm stupid for expressing my thoughts? Too fucking bad, don't read them. Somewhere along the line, someone forgot this simple fact: Live and let live Don't like me, cool, fine, whatever, I don't care. This journal is NOT for you. It's for me. I'm not in it for popularity or fame or anything stupid like that. I write it because I need to write and express myself and get things out of my head sometimes. So read or don't, it doesn't matter, but don't waste my time (or yours) bitching about it.

*gets off soapbox*

I Am Holding Half an Acre
The title has no bearing on my post. It's just a song I've had in my head lately. It's nice. I heard it on a commercial (Liberty Mutual according to a search) and it intrigued me. The band is called, "Hem" and the song title is "Half Acre." I'd like to listen to more of the album, but for the moment, I do like this one song at least. So anyway, I couldn't think of a title for the entry and decided to use the line from the song instead.

Let's see...I'm working the temp job this week. I already was in Thursday and Friday afternoons of last week and I'll be here next Monday as well. I'm covering for a vacation. I can certainly use the cash though so it's good. (Yeah! I'll finally be able to get my new glasses with the money from temping plus the gift cards I received from a mysterious and generous person at the holidays.)

For some unknown reason, my wrist is in a horrible, horrible state right now. I have a minor arthritis in my left wrist and fingers. It's normally not a big thing. It'll flare up when it gets cold and/or rainy, but beyond that, there's not a lot of problem. It's weaker than my right wrist and fingers but, still. Almost no pain on a day-to-day basis. But for some reason, right now it's agony. It started yesterday and hasn't let up. I've been popping advil but it's not helping in the slightest. (Normally, when it's weather-related soreness, it helps almost completely.) I put heat on it last night too and no good. It hurts constantly right now. No matter how I hold it, how it sits, or if I use it or not. Just aches down to the bone. And, actually radiates out to my left fingers as well. In fact, typing is killer. But, what else am I going to do? Even just sitting, not typing is a killer.

I hate when it gets this way. Normally, when it's bad and there's no cause for it, it lasts for a few days or up to a week and then just gets better as mysteriously as it started. And even though I'm right-handed, I never realize how much I use my left hand as well until it gets painful like this.

Oh well. Beyond that, there's not a lot going on. Love wants a Disney break this weekend, so we might head out there Saturday. Always nice. It's wonderful stress relief. Besides, I have to make as much use of the passes while I can. (It's going to be a sad day in May when they expire.)

Well, not much more to say so I think I'll just go back to surfing for the moment.
