Reminder...

There are people on the net that have nothing better to do with their time then be nasty to other people online. They post rude comments, spend hours a day talking about sites they hate so much, that they well, spend hours a day talking about them. (lame) They mock the owners and posters for their opinions and their right to free speech. They expect everyone to fit into their narrow-minded little world view or else they throw a temper tantrum.

To these people I say grow up.

Here's a bit of info people...the web is a HUGE place. If you don't like what I say here, or who I am, or what I do, or talk about, or what I look like, or the color of my hair, or whatever asinine thing you dwell on, go somewhere else. It's really, really easy. Honest. You just click the little "x" in the corner of your browser and *poof* the offending, big, mean and nasty site has disappeared.

I pay for this site. It's mine. That means I can use it for whatever the hell I want to. Don't like it if I'm bitching about something in my life? Oh fucking well. Go somewhere else. Think I'm stupid for expressing my thoughts? Too fucking bad, don't read them. Somewhere along the line, someone forgot this simple fact: Live and let live Don't like me, cool, fine, whatever, I don't care. This journal is NOT for you. It's for me. I'm not in it for popularity or fame or anything stupid like that. I write it because I need to write and express myself and get things out of my head sometimes. So read or don't, it doesn't matter, but don't waste my time (or yours) bitching about it.

*gets off soapbox*

Tooth Drive Update: I've finished the root canal and the first part of the restore work. The vast majority of it has been paid but I am in still debt around $400 for the root canal. I've come a long way since discovering I needed around $2,000 for the emergency dental work. This has been possible with thanks to sales, support and savings. I'm almost there! You can help me finish paying off the bill by using one of my links below. Pass my jewelry link along to others. Help spread the word. I'm doing everything I can to raise the money, and your help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Pollen Problem
Another day, another pollen count off the scale. I woke up this morning and felt like I was about ready to die. We've had an exceptionally bad allergy season so far this year but it's especially bad today. I can't tell you how exahusted, unable to breathe and all around feeling like I've been beat up, run over and wrung through a ringer today. It's a real push to have not only made it in this morning but to actually make it back from lunch. I am so beat, I was actually dozing off on the couch when Rand called at the gate to let me know it was time to head back in. We're a hotspot in the nation today for pollen. And let me tell you, it's highly unpleasant.

Beyond that, it's Friday. Thank goodness. It's been a long week. These hours and lack of sleep are really wearing me into the ground. I'm actually worried about whether or not I'll have the stamina for all day at Disney tomorrow. I defientely don't want anything to get in the way of having a good time. I mean, come on. It's Walt Disney World, you know? How much better does it get? :)

It is also St. Patty's Day. I almost forgot until Love asked me last night what he should wear for today. I blinked stupidly at him and didn't get why he was asking. I don't know, same as always, why? was the gist of my reply. (Coherant aren't I?) He settled on one of his dozen or so Guinness shirts for the record. I'd insert a cute little shamrock image but there isn't a photo editing program on this machine and I don't feel like having a massive image with the text and those are all I can easily find at the moment. So just pretend there's a cute, green icon here, mkay?

Let's see...what else? Oh yeah. We watched the American Invetor show last night. It was pretty bad. I mean good in theory and all but jeez. First off, the judges were just lame. British guy was absolute lacking in personality at all; the inventor guy was a jerk; the chick kept tearing up like she was going to cry all the damned time; and the NY guy? Eh, he was the most normal of all of them. Then there was the fact that the show was one hour of content spread out into a two hour time slot. It was absolutely absurd. They would show literally ONE INVENTION and then go to commerical. Put it this way, it was so bad, I had time to basically almost finish my spring layout for my journal just during the commericals. They weren't showing anything but streams of people coming out either pissed or happy. It's like...where are the inventions? Isn't that what the show is supposed to, you know, be about? Pretty lame. Came across like a really cheap show. Oh! And speaking of cheap, what was with the sets? It was like filmed in a warehouse with sheets for curtains, plywood ramps and open framework? Jeez. How hard is it to find a location? Anyway, it was a disappointment.

*hums*

Well, that's all I can think of at the moment. Actually, you're lucky I was able to think that much. I'm telling you, my head, sinuses, nose, throat and lungs are killing me. Please oh please, let it be 5:30pm soon.

Super Sleepy
Man, I'm in trouble. It's only 9:41am and I'm having the absolute damndest time keeping my eyes open. I was absolutely dead to the world this morning when I had to get up. Things haven't improved much since then. Normally, I wake up sometime around 5:30am or so. Don't ask me why, I just do. So I get up, drop some kibble in the girls' bowls and make a quick bladder break before going back to sleep.

Problem is that Love's alarm then goes off at 6am. He hit snooze and it goes off again at 6:09am. It tends to take me 10 or 15 minutes to fall back to sleep, so I'm normally annoyed and mostly awake during this whole span. Then he goes to take a shower. I tend to drift off to sleep but then he comes back to bed for a doze after the shower which wakes me up again. After that, he gets up and starts getting ready which normally involves coming in and out of the bedroom a few times. So I get highly irritated and downright cranky because from about 5:30am through when he leaves at around 7:30-7:40am I'm basically continually woken up. On temp days, I have to wake up around 7:30am to start getting ready. On non work days, I have to get up to lock the door (privacy lock) and then go back to bed.

So... this morning, I woke up like 5:22am or so but then fell back asleep so soundly that when Love came in to tell me he was leaving, I had no idea how it got to be 7:30am. I was dead in the middle of sleep. Having to wake up out of that deep of sleep so suddenly just isn't working. It's like someone waking up the average person at like 3am and expecting them to start their day and be fully awake and at their best. Ugh, just doesn't work.

It's going to be a looooooong day.

What stinks too is that I don't have anything at the apartment for lunch. Bah. And I can't even nap during my lunch hour because I have to use the vast majority of it trying to wrangle my stomach in order after the morning's long wait and then in prepration of the afternoon's hours as well. Bah.

Right now, I'm looking forward to two things. In the short term, 5:30pm. Then if I really need to, I can lay down for a half an hour or so before dinner. In the long term, looks like we're set touse our comp tickets to Disney this Saturday. Ironicaly, it'll be exactly one month after the last time we went and got the freebies in the first place. Heh. My friend Rand wanted to go last time for Love's birthday trip but was really sick with a bad cold so he's coming out with us this time instead. The only thing I'm worried about is being beat from the week. Normally, I prepare for the all-day event by resting during the week. Sure, sitting here answering the phone isn't stressful. But I am sorely under-sleeping which will catch up with me. I just want to enjoy myself. We've actually clocked how much we walk in a day with a pedometer thingy and came up with over 13 miles. That's a lot. So I just want to be up for it and have a good time.

I'm logged into Yahoo messanger all day so if anyone's around and wants to chat, feel free. I need to do something to help pass the day and not fall asleep at my desk!

To do reminder for myself:
- Make the damned necklace order! It's been a week already. (I just haven't had time and it's a slightly complicated piece. It's a redo of the pink and green flower necklace.)

- Update PhoenixFire Designs with the beautiful bracelet (in the same colors as these earrings) and the new glass pearl bracelet and necklace. Dammit, they're nice, they'll sell and the cash would be helpful!

- Copy the 100 Things to the domain.

- Make new damned layout. It's going to be Spring in four damned days!

*hums*

I need to make a post sometime with some of the things I normally "say" so you guys can hear how I hear it in my head when I type things like "hums" or "so...." It'd be amusing.

Alright, I'm drawing a blank for now. More later perhaps.

Tuesday at the Temp Job
So, let's see... Yesterday I got into the temp job a little late (10am) because my stomach was acting up in the morning. Wasn't a problem though, because I'd already finished all the stuff J. had for me basically in one day anyway last Friday. Nothing like being paid to surf, hu? *chuckles*

Today K. only needed me to come in around 2:30pm because she was leaving a few hours early to start her vacation. So I had time to sleep in, finish my swap and get to the post office before coming in. Now I've got an hour left today. Easy enough.

Wednesday - Friday I'll be here all day covering the phones for K. Easy stuff. Answer it when it rings, entertain myself otherwise when it doesn't.

Next Monday she also wants me to come in for at least the morning since she'll be back around noon.

Busy week! ;) Today, I started to get a headache before I came in so I took some Excedrin to nip it in the bud. Of course, I have a practically empty stomach so it's making me jittery. Blarg. Hate that. Though I rather have the slight shakes (you should see my typing between the caffine and the non-ergonomic keyboard before I use the space bar a thousand times!) then a migraine.

Yesterday I spent pretty much all day working on a new 100 Things. It's pretty detailed; more then just one-liner facts. It's currently found here but it'll move to the domain eventually too. I spent far too much damned time on it so everyone should read it. *laughs*

*Hums* Ok, well I guess that's it for the moment. I still need to make a necklace for an order, update PhoenixFire Designs with some new pieces I made, make four ATC's and journal page. Sheesh! Too busy when I don't have free time. It always works that way.

Ta for now.

Random Updates - Playing Catch-up
Let's see...in brief:

Friday Worked all day at the temp job. Stomach held out through the day and I finished up everything J. had for me early. I actually ended up with a couple hours in the morning and afternoon of paid free time. Heh. Can't beat that.

Saturday We hit the Bay Area Renaissance Festival. It's an annual thing for us. Damn was it hot though! Jeez. That sun was brutal. It was probably around 85F but man...it was hot. Got a massage. (Chair massage) *drool* Same lady as last year. She's awesome. 20 minutes/$20 bucks. And she always gives you more like 30 minutes because she doesn't just stop by the timer, she works out the muscles until she's satisfied with the movement. She found every single trigger point and area of pain plus more I didn't know about. Got me some motion in my right shoulder and neck. Then she went after my left thumb. Holy crap! She beat the shit out of it. I didn't know it was bad until she touched it. It's actually really sore from the intense deep tissue she did to it. Man. Woman's smaller then I am but jeez...she's got some amazing skill and strength! She does in-home too so I need to see about getting her out now and then. I need it with my chronic pain issues and my neck damage.

Sunday Had a few errands to run. Splurged with our tax money and bought ourselves new dishes. Ours were mis-matched (two utterly different, cheap patterns) and broken and we were down to a whopping two bowls total. They were on sale at Target though so it was a really good price. (We got one, four place setting of sandstone sienna and one 4 place setting of sandstone green. They coordinate together really nicely.)

This evening we watched the season six opener of the Sopranos. Can I just say, Holy Crap! Jeez. Wasn't expecting that!. (I won't spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it yet.)

This week Tomorrow I go in again to help J. Then Tuesday-Friday I'll be covering the phones for K. while she's on vacation. Five full days. I won't act like I'm not a little intimdated by it all. But the cash will come in handy. We're seriously hoping to put it and tax money towards a car. It's such an up-hill battle though.

Anyway, that's the sum for now.
