Reminder...

There are people on the net that have nothing better to do with their time then be nasty to other people online. They post rude comments, spend hours a day talking about sites they hate so much, that they well, spend hours a day talking about them. (lame) They mock the owners and posters for their opinions and their right to free speech. They expect everyone to fit into their narrow-minded little world view or else they throw a temper tantrum.

To these people I say grow up.

Here's a bit of info people...the web is a HUGE place. If you don't like what I say here, or who I am, or what I do, or talk about, or what I look like, or the color of my hair, or whatever asinine thing you dwell on, go somewhere else. It's really, really easy. Honest. You just click the little "x" in the corner of your browser and *poof* the offending, big, mean and nasty site has disappeared.

I pay for this site. It's mine. That means I can use it for whatever the hell I want to. Don't like it if I'm bitching about something in my life? Oh fucking well. Go somewhere else. Think I'm stupid for expressing my thoughts? Too fucking bad, don't read them. Somewhere along the line, someone forgot this simple fact: Live and let live Don't like me, cool, fine, whatever, I don't care. This journal is NOT for you. It's for me. I'm not in it for popularity or fame or anything stupid like that. I write it because I need to write and express myself and get things out of my head sometimes. So read or don't, it doesn't matter, but don't waste my time (or yours) bitching about it.

*gets off soapbox*

Tooth Drive: I raised $550 of $850 I need for my dental work when the other shoe dropped. One of my teeth now needs a critical root canal - over $2,000 in costs. There's no way I can come up with this on my own in the next 2-3 months. So I need your help. Please consider using one of my links below. Pass my jewelry link along to others. Help spread the word. If I were able to get $10 from 200 people, I would be there. I don't think it's that much or that hard. But I need help. Thank you.

After being up until almost 4am last night completely overhauling and updating the bracelets section of PhoenixFire Designs, I thought I'd sneak you a few peeks at new items. There are tons more, so it's worth checking out the full listing. Don't forget, it's not too late to order for the holidays! Priority mail will still get your order in on time!

Genuine Swarovski Crystal AB Clear Ball Link Bracelet

Genuine Swarovski Crystal Fire Opal Orange and Clear Bead Bracelet

Enjoy!!

Exhausted But Triumphant
I'm not even going to get into the MASSIVE number of changes and NEW BRACELETS updated to PhoenixFire Designs, however, I have been working for hours on finishing and updating the bracelets. I'm thrilled to say it's now done.

Please go take a look at the finally finished bracelet section for all the lovely, beautiful and all around super cool stuff that's now there. It's the least you can do after I spent all day getting it finished! ;)

And now, I'm exhausted and I am off to bed. More details later on.

Night!

Not Much
With the coupon a week or so ago from Cafepress, I ordered two of my 2006 Photography Calendars. My mom wanted one and I admit, I did too, so I put in an order. First off, they look awesome. There's something insanely cool about seeing your own photos printed all professional in a calendar format. Wow. And they looked really nice too. But one of them was printed and stapled askew. Darnit. So I emailed them and am waiting to hear back. I've heard they really stand behind the items so if they come out a little wonky, they replace it for you no problem. Still though, the calendar is awesome and I was dancing around like a little kid last night looking through it. Besides the fact that it's mine and I'm of course a bit biased, it's really quite a nice calendar and I don't think you'd be disappointed if you ordered one yourself. All the shots were taken by me personally and are all from locations here in the Tampa Bay area and one special fireworks one from Walt Disney World.

In other babbling.... For those of you who don't know, I mirror my journal here on Livejournal. This is me. Generally, everything that's here gets copied over there. And now and then some silly fluff like quiz results and memes go there. 99.9% of it all is open to everyone. A very rare bit of time I post something "friend's only" that I don't want to discuss in public view. Today's one of those days. For any of you who don't often check the LJ location, there's been a few posts there today that won't make their way here. Nothing serious, just some minor gripes more then anything. Heh.

I've been sleeping horribly all week. But not horrible like unable to sleep, horrible like I literally can't wake up. I'm sleeping upwards of 11 hours a night. (!) It's like I'm stuck in this thick fog that's heavy and I can't break out of it. My dreams are stupidly vivid and while they're not bad, they're exhausting. I wake up too and I feel horrible. Groggy, with a headache and upset stomach from oversleeping. I have no idea what's going on. I thought it was the antibiotics at first but I finished those Tuesday and it's not let up. I just physically can't get up until I've slept far too long and I'm miersable for it. It's awful. And I can't fathom what's causing it.

Ugh, it's 3:30pm already. I need to go and actually get dressed and such. I slept until after 1pm today and I've yet to actually get out of my pj's or anything yet. It's all part of the "out of it" thing I feel when I wake up. Monday I'm making cookies with my mom and I need to schedule my second half of the root canal for next week or the week after. Ugh. Then I need to figure out how I'm going to pay for the crown work on it AND the three other cavities that still need fixing. Blarg. If only I had a car. Ours is so bad its literally a miracle it gets Love to work each day. I mean that seriously. If we had a decent car, it'd solve so many problems. Like I could get a p/t job for one thing. Which would help SO much. It's terrible being so stuck at a dead end when you can't get anything done because you lack the resources to do it. Aggravating day after day, you know?

Jeez. Alright, apparently I'm in a ranty mood so I better stop here. Maybe go drink a coke to try to get out of this fog I'm sitll in from my crappy week's sleep.

Playing Catch Up

Ok, I started this last night but never finished it....jeez.

Between the antibiotics I got for my cold last week which have been making me dizzy and unbearably tired, hockey, Cirque, the weekend, orders and holidays, I've been lax in getting an update. Which of course means that there's more to discuss when I do get around to it making me want to put it off longer, making the list of recaps longer....etc.

Thursday we got to see our first hockey game since the 2003-4 season. My friend Rand's company gets season tickets and so he got the tix for the game that night. It was so nice to see a game in person again. I've really missed it. The Lightning hosted the St. Louis Blues and won with a final score, 5-4. My friend Rand totally lucked out and won the raffle that night. So he got a SIGNED All-Star jersey by Marty St. Louis! We were all suitably jealous, let me tell you! It's quite nice.

Friday er...not much happened. Took it easy. Love and I just hung out together which was nice. We also watched some more of Lost season 2 in an attempt to get caught up on the current season.

Saturday I got to go see Varekai for free thanks to one of the nice ladies at Rand's work. She got the ticket but didn't end up wanting to go. So I went with a couple of the other ladies there - they came and picked me up - and got to see the show. It was quite lovely. I enjoyed it a lot. There's just something excellent about Cirque that makes for such a wholly unique experience. I missed Love and was sad he didn't get to see it but I'm glad I went.

Sunday we were going to get a tree but I was so dizzy and sick to my stomach from my antibiotics we only hit the stores we needed to and called it a night.

Monday night saw us looking for a tree. The place we normally go to was selling not-so-nice trees this year and for $60-70 (!!) each. That was a big no for us. So we drove to a couple places and couldn't find anything. I was getting really bummed out. We ended up hitting Lowe's and got a really nice Fraser Fir (my favorite) for $34! Whoo hoo! It's really nice.

Tuesday I started this entry but did not finish it. Oops. I finished my antibiotics (finally) and am happy to be done with them. I've been having dizziness problems and sleep issues (in that I sleep far too much and can't stay awake plus really crazy, vivid dreams all night) and yesterday saw stomach upset added in. Needless to say, I'm glad it's done with. And I'm feeling a lot better so I guess it helped. I was really worried it was going to turn into bronchitis or pneumonia or something for as much as it had settled in my chest and wouldn't let go. I've gotten almost all my voice back (still breaks on the higher pitches) which is good too. We were going to decorate the tree but ended up watching House and Queer Eye instead.

Wednesday is today! And I'm posting this damned entry no matter what! ;)

Thanks to Lorena for the nice box of candles and handmade soaps. It was quite a pleasant surprise. :)

Alright, there's my super thrilling update. Light on actual content but ya know, it at least gets me mentally caught up. It annoys me when I want to update my journal but I haven't gotten around to bringing it up to date first.

Keep in mind it's still not too late to put in a jewelry order at PhoenixFire Designs. I've had a couple orders come in the last few days and they're all heading out. You'll still get it in plenty of time.

Ok, done babbling. TTFN.
