Reminder...

There are people on the net that have nothing better to do with their time then be nasty to other people online. They post rude comments, spend hours a day talking about sites they hate so much, that they well, spend hours a day talking about them. (lame) They mock the owners and posters for their opinions and their right to free speech. They expect everyone to fit into their narrow-minded little world view or else they throw a temper tantrum.

To these people I say grow up.

Here's a bit of info people...the web is a HUGE place. If you don't like what I say here, or who I am, or what I do, or talk about, or what I look like, or the color of my hair, or whatever asinine thing you dwell on, go somewhere else. It's really, really easy. Honest. You just click the little "x" in the corner of your browser and *poof* the offending, big, mean and nasty site has disappeared.

I pay for this site. It's mine. That means I can use it for whatever the hell I want to. Don't like it if I'm bitching about something in my life? Oh fucking well. Go somewhere else. Think I'm stupid for expressing my thoughts? Too fucking bad, don't read them. Somewhere along the line, someone forgot this simple fact: Live and let live Don't like me, cool, fine, whatever, I don't care. This journal is NOT for you. It's for me. I'm not in it for popularity or fame or anything stupid like that. I write it because I need to write and express myself and get things out of my head sometimes. So read or don't, it doesn't matter, but don't waste my time (or yours) bitching about it.

*gets off soapbox*

Tooth Drive: I raised $550 of $850 I need for my dental work when the other shoe dropped. One of my teeth now needs a critical root canal - over $2,000 in costs. There's no way I can come up with this on my own in the next 2-3 months. So I need your help. Please consider using one of my links below. Pass my jewelry link along to others. Help spread the word. If I were able to get $10 from 200 people, I would be there. I don't think it's that much or that hard. But I need help. Thank you.

Playing Catch Up

Ok, I started this last night but never finished it....jeez.

Between the antibiotics I got for my cold last week which have been making me dizzy and unbearably tired, hockey, Cirque, the weekend, orders and holidays, I've been lax in getting an update. Which of course means that there's more to discuss when I do get around to it making me want to put it off longer, making the list of recaps longer....etc.

Thursday we got to see our first hockey game since the 2003-4 season. My friend Rand's company gets season tickets and so he got the tix for the game that night. It was so nice to see a game in person again. I've really missed it. The Lightning hosted the St. Louis Blues and won with a final score, 5-4. My friend Rand totally lucked out and won the raffle that night. So he got a SIGNED All-Star jersey by Marty St. Louis! We were all suitably jealous, let me tell you! It's quite nice.

Friday er...not much happened. Took it easy. Love and I just hung out together which was nice. We also watched some more of Lost season 2 in an attempt to get caught up on the current season.

Saturday I got to go see Varekai for free thanks to one of the nice ladies at Rand's work. She got the ticket but didn't end up wanting to go. So I went with a couple of the other ladies there - they came and picked me up - and got to see the show. It was quite lovely. I enjoyed it a lot. There's just something excellent about Cirque that makes for such a wholly unique experience. I missed Love and was sad he didn't get to see it but I'm glad I went.

Sunday we were going to get a tree but I was so dizzy and sick to my stomach from my antibiotics we only hit the stores we needed to and called it a night.

Monday night saw us looking for a tree. The place we normally go to was selling not-so-nice trees this year and for $60-70 (!!) each. That was a big no for us. So we drove to a couple places and couldn't find anything. I was getting really bummed out. We ended up hitting Lowe's and got a really nice Fraser Fir (my favorite) for $34! Whoo hoo! It's really nice.

Tuesday I started this entry but did not finish it. Oops. I finished my antibiotics (finally) and am happy to be done with them. I've been having dizziness problems and sleep issues (in that I sleep far too much and can't stay awake plus really crazy, vivid dreams all night) and yesterday saw stomach upset added in. Needless to say, I'm glad it's done with. And I'm feeling a lot better so I guess it helped. I was really worried it was going to turn into bronchitis or pneumonia or something for as much as it had settled in my chest and wouldn't let go. I've gotten almost all my voice back (still breaks on the higher pitches) which is good too. We were going to decorate the tree but ended up watching House and Queer Eye instead.

Wednesday is today! And I'm posting this damned entry no matter what! ;)

Thanks to Lorena for the nice box of candles and handmade soaps. It was quite a pleasant surprise. :)

Alright, there's my super thrilling update. Light on actual content but ya know, it at least gets me mentally caught up. It annoys me when I want to update my journal but I haven't gotten around to bringing it up to date first.

Keep in mind it's still not too late to put in a jewelry order at PhoenixFire Designs. I've had a couple orders come in the last few days and they're all heading out. You'll still get it in plenty of time.

Ok, done babbling. TTFN.
