Knowing that it was supposed to get down to about 36F last night in our area (and other, more inland and northern areas were going to lows between 25F and 30F), I though something warm for dinner was called for. That and something different. So I called my mom and got the instructions to make chili. I'd never made it before. It came out really good (in fact, I just ate some leftovers now for lunch) despite the fact that my burners are apparently hotter then my mother's burners. During the "simmering" time, it ended up boiling and scortched the kidney beans that were on the bottom of the pot. A minor set-back, but the chili itself was fine.

We never got around to doing my pc last night (big surprise; my switch-over to XP's been in the works for well over a year now). We watched the last of the audtion episodes of American Idol, then since West Wing was a rerun, we watched Angel. Normally we record Angel with the DVR (digital video recorder; like a Tivo but without the need to purchase it) and watch it after WW.

Tonight's a fun night ahead though - hockey! Weeee! My friend Rand's work has season tix, so me, my Love, Rand and our friend Karii will be heading off to see the game tonight. We'll be heading out of here in about a half hour or so to meet up. Hockey's so much fun. I love seeing games in person too. :)

That's about it for now, so since it'll probably be late by the time I get home, I'm out for the day. Ta!
