Wow, it's been busy...

Christmas Eve, December 24th - My friend Rand came over in the afternoon and we exchanged gifts. He got me the Autumn Foxfire limited edition 18x28 signed print. It's awesome. I was also able to exchange the earrings that my mom gave me a couple days early for xmas. (They're pretty white gold dangles and one of them broke the second time I went to wear it.)

Jef came over in the evening and he got me a Charles DeLint book and then we watched It's a Wonderful Life on tv. He and my Love played a little bit of hockey on his PS2 and then called it a night. It was a good day.

Christmas Day, December 25th - My Love and I got up, opened our gifts (I got a pair of rollerblades from my Love!) then hurried up and drove down to his aunt's house for xmas breakfast. We exchanged gifts with his family, hung out for a bit then had to get going. Came back to the apartment, rested for a few, then headed north to my mom's house for xmas dinner. Turkey, ham and all the rest. I helped my mom clean up, then we exchanged presents and had a bit of pie. By this point it was going on 9pm and we were beat. My Love and I ended up crashing out for sleep at about 11:20pm - which is psychotically early for us! *lol* But, the early morning, all the driving, the food - just a long day and we were beat.

Friday, December 26th - We hit the mall over by Rand so we could pick up another pack of the only-available-at-xmas Godiva Candy Cane Truffles that my Love enjoys so much for 50% off. We went to Michael's to see about framing and I picked out what exactly I liked for my Autumn Foxfire image, but it was going to be like $288 and we said we'd hold off for now. *eep!* She said when they have another one of the 50% total order thingies that it would be right around $200 but holy shit, that's still a lot. I want to get it framed so much though so I can see and enjoy it! :)

Saturday, December 27th - Ran to payless, picked up two cute pairs of shoes (buy one, get one 1/2 off) and then met up with Rand. His family is in town from Holland for the holidays and his cousin wanted to go out one night. We were going to take him over to Ybor but it's scuzzy and dangerous and none of us like it. So we ended up driving out to Orlando instead and went to Pleasure Island. Since we're passholders, the tickets were only $15.95 to get in and that's unlimited for all the clubs. Most of the places over in Ybor want $12 a person and that's just for the one club. Anyway, we had a good time and I have to say the coolest club by far there is the Mannequins place because they have AWESOME lighting and the dance floor rotates. It's a good mix of different techno types. Once the place got busy (we got there too early), it was a lot of fun. They even have hyper cooled fog that they blow out onto the dance floor to cool you off every now and then. Very neat and very helpful because it sure got hot out there! By the time we got home last night it was like 3am and we were beat. Collapsed to sleep.

Sunday, December 28th - Just got up a little while ago, checked on the net, read my emails and now I'm going to go shower and try to be a smidge more human. Just wanted to get something of an entry up though since it's been so many days. I have work tomorrow and Tuesday and I'm not sure about the rest of the week. He didn't know what the schedule was going to be yet because it's dependant on how busy things are. He closed the office all this past week because there was just no need to have it open. No idea what's up today, but I do know the apartment is a disaster and we need to clean that up a bit. (Paper, boxes, stuff just everywhere!) Anyway, that's it for now so ta.
