Spent the day yesterday hanging out with our friend Rand at his house and running some general errands. Today we're going to look at some apartments because we're thinking about seriously moving. It's a heated discussion though because right now, we're in a two bedroom/two bath apartment and getting a good deal. Everything in the price range we're at is only like a 1/1. We like having two bathrooms and you only get those with two bedrooms and we need a second room because we have his computer also (mine's in the master bedroom) and his drafting table where he draws. There's no way we'd be able to fit that in either a living room or a master bedroom again. Ugh. He wants to move because our neighbors at this building are terrible. Like we're in the ghetto. They stomp, slam, yell (full-on Jerry Springer moments), leave their trash out on the walkway, riddle the entire buidling with cigerette butts, leave peices of furnature and appliances outside their door, etc. It's terrible. And when they slam things around down there - which happens so much you can't even keep count - it literally shakes our walls and floors. That's just wrong. So...he wants to move no matter what, even if we have to give up everything and get some dinky 1/1. I say that since there's zero guarentee that our next neighbors will be any quieter (because that's just something you won't know until you actually commit and move in there) that we shouldn't move unless we can improve on our situation somehow - like get a newer apartment, or nicer amenities, etc. So, it's a bit of disagreement here and so we've got to pound some pavement and see what we can find that's nice, has what we want (like there's no way I'm going to give up having a washer and dryer in the apartment itself) and what's in our price range. *sigh*

I utterly completely and passionately HATE moving.
