Got almost all our christmas shopping done today and we didn't spend that much money. We did really good. I'm quite pleased. Pretty much everything came from the all-purpose wunderkid store, Target. Still have some funny pics to put up from Friday, but they're still on my camera. *note to self: upload them damn you!


Mmm...nothing like a nice, warm bowl of Cream of Wheat with a ton of honey mixed in to take the chill from your skin and the growl from your tummy. I love the stuff. Grew up eating it as a kid in PA. My mom always made it on the stovetop for me - because of course, back in the day, there was no such thing as the "instant" or "microwave" version. I still get the stovetop version - just mine cooks in 2 1/2 minutes instead of like 15. Used to be so much work for my mom. Stirring non-stop for 15 minutes. But I loved it and boy did it help warm me up on a cold winter day. Picked some up a couple weeks ago and have been eating it every couple nights since. I'm going through milk like it's going out of style - it takes two cups per bowl I make. That's a lot of milk for me and for us seeing as we normally buy the "chug" (pint) sized things of milk or it goes bad (and even then, sometimes it still does)
