: Saturday, October 26th 2002 :
Woke up to my Love having made me breakfast in bed (just because). A huge, warm cinnamon bun, slices of apples and peaches and a fruit smoothie. He's so great.

We then spent a couple hours driving around, trying to find my costume since every place I looked the other day with Jef was either out, or had it only in Large. We finally ended up driving to the neighboring city where the other location of the one party store was and they had several! in the right size, right there on the shelf. It was crammed busy, but I saw it right away, snagged it and jumped for joy. I got my costume! :)

Got home, tried it on - it fits great! I definately needed the "teen" size one - and my Love took a pic:

I'm not all done up or anything, so it'll look even cooler on Halloween. I'm gonna add my fangs, and some makeup and such and I think it will look awesome. If I have time this week, I might do a Halloween photoshoot with my cotume. Depends if I get time.

So, after that, we got together with some friends for bowling. It's our friend Kali's birthday on Monday (she's going to be an old lady at 25! *lol*) and so a group of us all went out to the bowling alley. There were like 11 of us and most of them were drinking, we were cheering and clapping and making jokes. For some reason the bumper guard things were up, so we kept laughing when what would have been a gutter ball, ended up being a spare or something. Cries of "Bumper ball!" would be heard. Much fun was had by all. I bowled like my best game ever. I got a 104. That is freakin' excellent for me. (sad but true).

After we bowled two games (my second I bowled only a 90 *lol*), we went and played some arcade games - the alley has a large arcade there. I played this one guy Billy on Soul Caliber 2 (a game I've not played before, but used to play the first one a few years ago) and beat him three games in a row. It was quite amusing since he's really good at it and beat these other guys who wanted to play him seven times in a row. So I was quite proud of my button-mashing skills. :)

We watched some crack addict play some DDR also - he was using both sides of the pad. He actually brought an entire gallon of water with him to drink from. Some people are just weird about that game. They work on memorizing the moves and it's like not a game for fun anymore, it's something kinda sick and twisted. When you're flayling about, hitting multple steps per half-beat, and you need to bring a gallon of water with you to do it, you're high or crazy or both.

After that, we called it a night and headed on back to the apartment. Despite the fact it was the end of Daylight Savings Time and that we'd have an extra hour to do something, we didn't really have any place else to go. *shrugs* But it was a fun day.

: Today! October 27th 2002 :
Got up a little while ago, formatted the pics from my camera and wrote out this entry offline since I didn't know how long it'd take me and I didn't want to kill my time. Don't quite know what I'm going to do today, but Rand's over, so I guess we'll figure something out. We need to get my Love his bald cap and ears still (he's going as a Nosferatu for Halloween) so maybe we'll hit the costume place over by us since they had the nicest ones.

That's about it. Gonna log on and upload this now (hopefully, since blogger got hacked the other day. ARG. I really need to get onto MT. Maybe I'll bribe Orbie to set it up for me. *lol*
