Wow, look at this. Two entries; two days in a row. lol It's like the good old days. (eh, sorta) I'm back today at Chris' company finishing up some MIS, Networking, and CSS work and I thought I'd pop off another quicky post while I had a chance.

I think I'm getting sick. Blah. That just bites. I tell my Love that this morning and he says, "you know, I think I am too." Blah. So, someone, somewhere has seemingly given us a oh-so-lovely summer cold. I'm ok for right now, but my nose keeps getting stuffy, I'm coughing, and just achy in that feel-like-you're-getting-sick kinda way. I hope it blows over though because being sick is a miserable thing.

On brighter news front: My interview yesterday went really well. Joked and laughed and got complimented by the interviewer which is always a good thing. She was really nice and apparently lives right near me, but she's leaving shortly to take a teaching job. The company though seems really cool - they have a complete gym with showers and lockers on site as well as an arcade with a bunch of games and things like pool and ping pong, with couches, tv's, vcr's ect. They were all joking around with each other when I was waiting in the lobby and the lobby itself has a mini museum of rare and old cars. Pretty darned neat. I'm psyched because I guess it was a really long ordeal to even get a call let alone an interview - of the 75+ people who submitted resumes, only like a dozen actually got a call. And that was only after a team of four seperate managers went through and all had to agree on a candidate's resume. So, it was an ego boost to know I was liked by four people, narrowed down from 75 applicants and that the interviewer praised me multiple times. She even asked for my references which is always a good sign. They never ask for that sort of thing if they're not seriously interested in you. So, fingers crossed!!

Still waiting to hear what's going on with the Unemployment. I filed waaaay back in April. And I'm waiting on an authorization on like $1400 from over eight weeks of checks. I'm just getting the run-around. arg arg arg.

Uh....ok, I can't think of anything else for the moment and I'm distracted with about ten other things I'm doing at the same time too, so I'm going to close. Take care all and thanks for your well wishes.
