Eleven 7-Eleven stores across the United States (and one in Canada) were made over into Kwik-E-Marts for the month of July 2007 in honor of The Simpson's Movie. I was lucky enough to visit one of the locations located in Orlando (Lake Buena Vista), Florida. It was a lot of fun. They really covered everything with the Kwik-E-Mart signs, from the gas pumps, to the door, to the atm machine. There was nothing left that said 7-11. The employees even wore Kwik-E-Mart shirts. For sale were special items like KrustyO's and Buzz Cola. The place was packed but I managed to take quite a few photos of the store and the little detail touches. I wasn't the only one with a camera! Far from it. In fact, two police officers were stationed in the store to ensure things didn't get out of hand. Everyone was laughing though, and in good spirits the afternoon I was there. Being prime real estate just outside of Downtown Disney (Walt Disney World), it drew a large and highly amused crowd.
