Fucking-a. Today, we shell out $135 to replace the alternator in the car (which was cheap since everyone wanted like $200+ just for the part, not including install) My step-dad installed it for us and got us a discount because he works for the county. The problem is now all of a sudden, it's overheating (again). Fuck. Just a quick drive to go pay the power bill and it plummeted all the way to hot and then backed down once I stopped accelerating. We're going to try to add some anti-freeze, but if the radiator is going we're so screwed. We had to wait like a month before we even had the funds to replace the alternator and an overheating car can't go that long. Since it's our only running car, if it goes out we're just so fucked.

How much shit do I have to go through? When the fuck does it just stop and I get a break? Fuck, I can't take shit like this. (And I wonder why I'm getting horribly sick to my stomach again every single day the way I used to back when I was all ulcerous)

Wow, I had a great mail day yesterday. Turns out Dawna bought me a book off my Wishlist and it showed up yesterday. (Whoo-hoo! More vampire novel goodness! They are my guilty pleasure!) Thank you dear! :)

And then, I got a postcard, a valentine's and a package of assorted goodies from Australia from pX! AND two auctions for charms I had won (for my jewelery creations) showed up - all on the same day! :) I just love mail.

We bought a GameCube the other day (we went halves with our friend Rand and used the money I was going to use to buy my Love a Birthday present to get it) and I've been enjoying the heck out of it so far. We got such a great deal. It came with Super Mario Sunshine, a controller and a memory card plus there is an offer right now where when you buy it, you instantly get NBA Street plus another choice of four games free instantly. So, we ened up with three games a controller and a memory card for the box price ($150). Then we did a pre-order on the Zelda game and that gave us another one for free (the N64 version Zelda, the Ocarina of Time) and SSX Tricky for $14.99. The game we got for free (we chose Metroid Prime) we exchanged for Super Monkey Ball 2 (a fun party game) and we also picked up hockey (NHL Hitz) for $14.99. We now have five games PLUS my friend Jef officially gave me his copy of Animal Crossing bringing the total to SIX games! Wow. This is so cool. :) Now, my Love and I have to fight over who gets to use the system first! *lol*

My mom's here and we're getting some of the items from the ebay auctions ready for shipping, so I've got to run. We'll be doing some more since it went pretty well - she sold six items - but I'll get to those when they're up. Just wanted to say how much fun I've been having lately with all the cool things I've gotten recently (and for so little!) ttfn.

OK, not a real entry, but this is so funny you HAVE to see it. I love the engrish.com site. I'm just cracking up.

Oh yeah, and I really want this shirt

*laughs so hard she cries*

So tired. I wanted to give an update since I haven't had time for one in awhile and I thought I'd go ahead and upload the pics from Valentine's Day and such and get those images up on the site which turned into tweeking almost every page of the site (twice) and then uploading them all again (twice) and then checking them out to see if I think I did it all the way it was supposed to be (three or four times because I've just confused myself at this point *lol*)

But, I did update the photos to include the following:

Valentine's Day Roses
(they're an amazing lilac color which needs to be seen to be believed)

-- and --
Valentine's day gifts
(two fabulous pictures that my Love actually drew and framed for me. One of myself and one of my cat,
Kush-ka).

So, I got a dozen, amazingly beautiful lilac roses, a Godiva valentine's day teddy bear, and two wonderful, framed pictures hand-drawn by my Love himself. The pic of Kush he did actually made me bawl because he said he made it so I'd always have something of Kush's even after he's gone. (He's terminal with cancer). It was just the sweetest thing I think anyone's ever done. And, he's such a great artist that I'm so happy to see him using his skills again after so long.

I got him the first season of Angel on DVD and we ate some cheese fondue (we bought but never made beef and chicken for the main course of fondue) and snuggled up on the couch and watched three episodes. It was a nice day.

I'll get to the rest of the weekend tomorrow. Right now I'm ready to crash. TTFN.

[edit] Two of the items have sold, but there's still seventeen more beautiful and normally very expensive peices of jewelery that I'm selling for my mom you can find here on ebay *refer to this post for more info on why it's important we sell as much as possible.

[edit 2] some sick fuck actually searched for cute 13 year old sex, but the funny part? They went to my cat, Kush-ka's site because he's almost 13 years old (and it says so on the page) and it lists his sex as male (poof, instant keyword find). Serves them right. That's the ONLY kind of 13 year old "pussy" they should be looking for. Sick fucks.

Just to show how much free time my friend Jef has at "work" (he does graveyard, overnight on weekends), this is the kind of thing he sends my way when he's there:

"What do the Pope and a Christmas tree have in common?"

"The balls are just for decoration!"

*snickers*

Silly Pooka. :) It was just too darned stupid-but-funny not to share.
