The EPCOT Model (what's left of it
anyway)
During the Tomorrowland Transit Authority ("TTA" though
formally known as the WEDway PeopleMover) ride, you can see this model city.
It's what's left of Walt's original plans for EPCOT ("Experimental
Prototype Community of Tomorrow"). EPOCT was to be an innovative and
progressive planned city where people could "live, work and play."
Sadly, Walt died before his project ever saw the light of day and the Walt
Disney Company took the idea and turned it into the theme park, Epcot. The
original model was apparently MUCH larger (so big you could walk all the way
around it), and was animated. This is all that remains.
